Surprisingly, non-muslims are rarely ever racist (mostly islamophobic, but they are few) to me, it’s the Muslims that I have been the most hurt by. Lol I rarely ever see a diverse group of Muslims hanging out with each other, the desis stick with the desi’s, arabs chill with arabs, black muslims only sit with black muslims. Seeing that alone can put someone off, you just don’t feel welcomed. Also I went to predominantly Arab Islamic school so I’ve had my fair share of racism which I’m pretty sure has damaged me for life.

Password protected blogs are fine, I’m talking about public blogs. Most bloggers on tumblr seem to think that their blogs cannot be discovered, that their blogs are safe from prying eyes if they keep them secret enough or hide their urls, but alas anyone can access anything with the right tools.

I just wanted to make a post telling everyone to be careful what they post on the internet.

You might think this is a private blog where you can vent your feelings or rage about an individual (or individuals) that irritate you, but nope, sadly that is not the case. Tumblr is not the place, if you want to do that, you’re going to have to do it the old fashioned way because people are spying on your every move and this society is merciless. No one wants to hear your excuses or make excuses for you if they ever come across something that can be possibly incriminating, so I suggest you take heed to my words and watch yourself.

The internet isn’t a safe place.
